Couples Yoga

Hi bloggers,
Do you know what is right around the corner? Valentine’s Day! Most couples celebrate the holiday by exchanging gifts, seeing a movie, or going out to dinner. Do you ever get bored with doing the same cliché dates year after year? Well, Sea Breeze has a solution. Couples yoga.

Don’t worry, you read that correctly. This year, SeaBreeze will be having a couples yoga class on Valentine’s Day. Couples yoga is more rewarding than the basic yoga class. It builds intimacy, unity, and trust in
a relationship. When you unite your practice with you partner’s, you sync with them. Your breath, movement, and body positions find a rhythm together. Couples bond by the laughter, happiness, and from the support they give each other.

During the class, there will be some individual poses, and some that are combined. Most combined poses will require the couple to rely on each other to stay balanced. After the yoga session is over, there will be a massage introduction. The massage introduction will teach the couple easy massage techniques that they will be able to preform on each other.

The Valentine’s Day class will start at 6:30pm, and last about an hour and a half. The cost for the entire event is $50 per couple. This price includes: the yoga session, massage
introduction, two chocolate covered strawberries, and two glasses of champagne to enjoy at the end. Since this event is considered a workshop, and not apart of a membership, studio members are required to pay the same amount per couple. For this session, every person needs his or her own mat. If you or your partner does not own a mat, mats will be provided at the studio to borrow. There are limited spots, and they are filling up fast. Sign up today, and I’ll see you on Valentine’s Day!

  1. Hi I love this idea for Valentines Day and am very interested in couples yoga. I unfortunately will not be in town for Valentines Day though, and was wondering if you offered couples yoga regularly at your facility?

    1. Sadly, we do not offered it regularly. Based on how popular it was for Valentine's Day, we are discussing trying to do it more often.
